Ever ask yourself what are you doing here on earth and where are you going? It would be so much easier if the answer was buried in a textbook that could be indexed for your name. Or here’s one for you, how about asking your parents, teachers or friends? You could definitely count on getting a variety of thoughts and answers from this opinionated group. But what do you do with all the answers and who is right? Well the answer would be none of them. Why? Because they are not you. You could trust their good intentions to help but you retain the hidden secret to finding your life purpose. So if you are set on discovering your life purpose then you are going to need a different approach.
Yak, Yak, Yak- pay attention to Yourself.
Alright, if you are the one with the secret inside then how do you go about discovering it? You do know by now that a little inner voice keeps talking to you every day. You hear your thoughts, feelings and ideas constantlly. But do you heed? You need to take note to that inner voice. To help you you have to start writing down these ideas and thoughts in a journal or diary. When you first start this procedure it won’t make sense to you but in time it will and you’ll be glad that you did. It has been proven that many highly successful people have followed the procedure of daily logging their ideas and concepts and then used them to later achieve great success in their life.
Evaluate Your Inner Thoughts and Ideas- This is Really Fun!
You will need to analyze your daily journal and perform an evaluation of your thoughts and ideas. What, you have something else to do on a Saturday Night? Start by posing the question why are you considering this. Then ask yourself “If I follow thru, where will it take me?” Finally, you should ask yourself “If I follow this course of action, how will it make me feel about myself when I achieve the goal?” Why should you do this? For two good reasons. First, how often in the past have you done something you thought was right at the time only to end up wishing you had thought it out more at the time? You then know you would have taken a different course of action. By doing your inner evaluation first it will assist you to eliminate much of the wasted effort and get you to your better goals more quickly. Second, when you feel something inside you it has a great chance to become reality. Because of this you can get your emotional feeling behind your evaluated ideas and get them to happen.
Push Those Ideas to the Front of Your Life!
Now here is where most people fall off the table. They fail to put action into their ideas and thoughts. The idea finds it way back to the “scary vault” only to fade and die another lonely death in the mind and subconscious. How many times have you heard this one? “Geez, that was my idea that person just used to make a fortune from?” The difference-No Action! So don’t make this blunder. Get some muscle behind your project and get it done. Still don’t trust yourself? Well how are you going to feel if you sit on the fence and get further and further away from building your goal of determining your life purpose? Fear is the single biggest difference between success and failure.
Okay, But What is the Purpose for Attaining All These Goals in Life?
There is a path for finding your life purpose that you need to build if you want to discover the answer.
