It is your free choice not charge for Reiki sessions and attunements. Offering your services for free is a very loving gesture, but if you want Reiki to be your life’s work and need to be able to support yourself and possibly your family, you have to think it over and evaluate your overall situation.

Naturally, as with everything you do professionally, you will need knowledge, experience and confidence, before you start making a living doing something that you enjoy to do.

my personal suggestion to start Reiki is giving away free trial sessions to friends and family to gain confidence. Clearly, you are not charging for the energy; it’s free for everybody. It’s your time and commitment to what you’ve studied that you are charging for. I started out giving Reiki by treating my family, coworkers and pets and also doing Reiki attunements. It was very fulfilling to share these free attunements, and it made a big difference in a lot of my friends lives – people who were not able to raise the funds for attunements but were eager to learn how to heal themselves and others.

Even now, many years and experience later, I would never turn someone away from a healing or attunement because they dont have the financial means. Remember the law of karma: what goes around comes around and the golden rule: do unto others as you’d have them do unto you. Thats just the Law and it is wise to follow it.

Reiki Master Certificate Possibility 1

You can teach Others!

In my opinion, you should have plenty of practice and experience before attempting to teach someone else. Mainly, because your students will have questions and you should be able to help them. Another reason is, if you attempt to teach others before you have experienced Reiki and the energy which attached to it, you may be missing out on part of the big picture. Reiki is beautiful and one reason is in its simplicity. The concept of Reiki is one that can be easily grasped, but you have to learn through your own experience and awareness.

But attuning others can be done, even if you don’t have experience. Practicing attunements will help you gain knowledge into the processes involved in Reiki, both through your own feelings during the attunement procedure and through the attunees’ experiences.

My only intention to become a Reiki Master at that time was to grow spiritually and to expand my spiritual awareness. In this transformation process you gain so much knowledge, so that teaching others become natural. Teaching and expanding Reiki to as many people as possible has not always been my goal and desire, as I assume it is not for many of you. After reading many books on Reiki, receiving the attunements, doing hands-on healing sessions, and sending many attunements to other beloved ones, I still didn’t have the intention to be a teacher. Only when I asked my Higher Self in what I can do to help others to evolve, I started to bring Reiki to others. What a opening experience!

Reiki Master Certificate – Possibility 2

Become a Reiki Master Associate!

After you have completed the lessons and assignments necessary to receive your Reiki Master certificate, and if you wish to teach others but not necessarily create your own Reiki teaching material, you may want to consider becoming an Professional Reiki Mastery Associate, which is in my opinion very beneficial, since you can buy a professionally designed course at a reduced affiliate price for your own students. You can charge your personal fees as you see fit for your support during their studies.

You will be your students’ guide through the course, sending their attunements and answering any questions they may have. Once they have completed the assignments they will receive a customized, internationally accredited Reiki Master Certificate through any Professional Reiki Mastery Association.

If you have the intention to teach Reiki, but don’t want to create your own material, and wish to handle to your students an accredited Reiki Master certificate, becoming an associate or affiliate may be the right choice for you.
