Water, wind, and temperature variance can have a dramatic impact on the security cameras, so housing and a mounting bracket should both be purchased. Housings come in many styles, and some even have the ability to heat or cool the camera based upon the temperature.

The obtrusive construction of cs-mount cameras can be a great advantage, as they are very obvious and often prevent vandalism by simply declaring to all would be thieves that they are being recorded.
